Anny African Delicacies began in a family kitchen in Luton and became a limited company in March 2021. The recipe has not changed: cook it properly, and feed people well.
It started at home
Every good cook has someone who first said, "you should sell this." For Anny, the push came from home: her son, then twelve, told her that her food deserved a much bigger table.
So she gave it one. What began as cooking for friends and family became Anny African Delicacies, and in March 2021 it became Anny African Delicacies Ltd.
What we believe
African food is not just food. It is how we welcome people, celebrate people and remember people. A wedding without jollof is just a meeting. A naming ceremony without moi-moi is missing someone. We take that seriously, and we season accordingly.
Where we are
We cook in Luton and travel across the UK. You will find us at trade fairs and food festivals from London to Manchester, and at the UK Black Business Show at ExCeL London on 17 October.
